Cholesterol: Who Invited You?

How ironic, this foodie is presented with yet another food challenge. Notice I didn’t say ‘limitation.’

Here’s the deal.  For the second time now, I’ve received notice that my cholesterol is too high.  We’re talking 55+ points over what it should be.  I find it ironic, because I eat healthy.  People at work tend to comment on my green food of the day.  While I’m not avoiding fat free foods, I do watch it.  In general, I just tend to eat healthy.

But, as we know, it’s not just about diet.  It’s stress and family history that come into play.  I have a lot to figure out.  Maybe it will lead to different foods to explore.  Another try at yoga.  Committing again to one 5K a month.

I’ll tell you this – all I have to think about is leaving my wife and children too soon, and that gets me on track.  I’ll let you know about my journey.
